Where to look

• SPF – on the domain itself, starting with v=spf1. There must be only one.
• DMARC – on _dmarc.example.com, starting with v=DMARC1.
• DKIM – on selector._domainkey.example.com. The selector comes from your mail provider.
• Verification – tokens such as google-site-verification=… usually sit on the domain itself, or on a name such as _vercel.example.com.

Why a record might not appear

Check that you added it to the right name. Many DNS panels add the domain automatically, so typing _dmarc.example.com can create _dmarc.example.com.example.com. Long records are split into 255‑character strings; this tool joins them back together.
